In 2014, Tip, Rory and Cassia opened the doors to Tupe Aloha with a desire to bring a fun and casual space to the Southern Gold Coast. More than just a restaurant, Tupes is the embodiment of the fun, eclectic personalities of each member of the Oberman family, including their parents, artists, Rodney and Pam. The colour and charm that Tupe is known for is thanks in large part to the vibrant artwork of their late father, Rod, which takes pride of place on the walls and highlights their unique identity amongst the Gold Coast restaurant scene. 

Nine years on, with an extra team member and a small army of children between them (plus a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears, hours, effort, love etc etc), the Tupe team is beyond proud to have created and sustained a restaurant that not only honours their family, but is loved by locals and tourists alike.
